50 minuten

Beste Jackb,

Hello Cernunnos,
Yes that is correct. As stated previously 579 only fixes the audio/video hiccup. The other bugs will be resolved in the release within '12.

Regards,
Samsung STB Team

Ik vind het ook geen probleem, hoor. Leek me alleen wel handig omdat hier even te plaatsen zodat als iemand anders hetzelfde heeft, hij dan weet dat ie gewoon ff moet wachten.

Samsung STB Team,

successfully updated,
I still have the following problems
(the SMT C7140 is connected via the SCART plug.)

1 In the previous firmware version and the latest update the mute button is not working The icon is changing but it does not sound off. (Volume changing is ok)

2 After the update I have to manually select the TV input, into the previous firmware the SMT C7140 select automatically to the correct TV input when switcht on

Regards,
AVD

Hello AVD,
Glad to hear you were able to download the new release. Sorry but point 2 is unclear. Can you please describe it in more detail - you can do it in Dutch.

Regards,
Samsung STB Team

Most TV's automatically can detect signals from SCART-inputs (not sure but i believe pin 8 is used for this). With this when a VCR or other equipment is connected the TV automatically switches to VCR input when PLAY is selected and when the VCR is turned off the TV returns to it's previous input.

In the previous firmware this was working and now it's broken. At the start of the bootup the TV switches to the PVR showing the Samsung logo and later switches back to previous input. This was also happening with the previous firmware but later during boot when the PVR was ready the TV switches back tho the PVR. With this new firmware is doesn't.

Powering on and off doesn't do it either. Only when the PVR is woken up for it's hourly wake and you switch it on the TV automatically selects the PVR.

Fix this please ...

Everytime when the Samsung PVR Boots for updating ( the EPG ? )
it sets signal on the HDMI bus, so the Flatscreen automatically selects the HDMI PVR and i can't watch other sources anymore for minutes.
I find this is very annoying, because the PVR boots every 20 minutes !

The Humax 5050 updates EPG too, but sets no signal on the HDMI :applause:

@Fantastic, I watch TV with it's own smartcard and the PVR is connected to the same TV by HDMI connection. To the TV also a Popcornhour is connected by HDMI.
I can watch the TV directly or the popcorn hour without the TV switching to the PVR when it wakes up automatically.
When I power up the PVR manually the TV does switch to the PVR without issues.

Thanx

@spoors : Amazing and good to know.
You don't have that problem with your Samsung.
Could be my PVR, or my Panasonic flatscreen.
BTW i have a DUNE Max, BD and BR rips looks Fantastic !
