We are pleased to announce that that a new software release is undergoing certification (version 577) this release is planned to be made available within week 43 (24th - 28th Oct) and the below mentioned issues and features will be included:

HDD Noisy operation
Some highlights as to features are the following:
1. Skip forward/backward time
Skip time is used to move forward or backward for some time within playback. Up to now this time was fixed. From now on user can change this time itself. There is extra option added into “Settings” menu to configure skip forward/backward time. It’s called “Skip forward/backward time”.
2. Enhanced Search functionality in EPG
User receives new search functionality which is now deeply extended. It allows the user to find interesting event more accurate and faster.
3. Return to previous service
From now on user can back to previous service simply by pressing “Return” button on RCU during watching any service. This functionality works only if any banner is not active or displayed on the screen.
4. Standby mode time
Standby mode time is a time after which STB goes to deep standby. Up to now this time was fixing for 5 minutes. There is new option added into “Settings” menu called “Standby mode time” which allows changing mentioned period. User has to remember that it can cause more power consumption.
5. Tagging program with a reminder
There is extra option added to tagging event. To already existing “Record” and “Watch” tag new option was added called “Reminder”. It causes that such tagged event is marked into EPG by orange icon and before such event will start a reminder is shown on the screen. It allows user to not forget about favorite event.
6. Multiple deleting in Library
From now on user can delete multiple recordings from Library simpler and faster. This option allows to select more than one recording to delete.
7. TXT - split screen
To make reading TXT pages more comfortable on the big screen without losing watching favorite event TXT split screen was added. When user turns on a TXT, screen can be split for two by pressing “Timer” button on RCU. To choose on which side the TXT is displayed appropriate option into “Settings” menu was added called “Teletext position”.
8. Recording editing functionality
There is new function added which enable to divide a recording on two parts and delete one of them. It can be done during watching previously recorded event. User should pres “Bookmark or red square” button on RCU. Appropriate menu will be shown and user can choose what to do. The options are: put just a bookmark or delete one of two parts of the recording.
We are still investigating the cause of the below mentioned bugs and how to implement certain features as well. Reason for the delay as to resolving the below mentioned issues (bugs) is because a lot of them are not reproducible. However, we are investigating the cause and hope to have a new release available by the end of this year.
