Reset

Hello,

First of all, sorry for not writing this in German, but due to my limited Deutsch, I am writing this in English.

Anyways, I wanted my UPC media box remote controller to recognise my TV so i did some tweaks to the settings which led to the screen going black in all channels. I gave it a reset, restarted UPC, choose Osterreich as the country, and typed in the code. Clicked ok, there showed up some options:
UPC aktivierungscode
regionencode
netzwerk id
basisfrequenz
symbolrate
qam-modulation

I left them to their oroginal values, and clicked ok, and got the 'Die Netzwerjsuche konnte noch abgeshclossen werden' error.

Could anyone help me this please? It has been working fine for the last 3 months.

Try Netherlands as the correct country?

I did try nederlands, and typed 251, qo it connected me to a city in nederland.

Going by that method, i tried Osterreich again, and knowing that the codes were 100 +. I tried 101, and tade, Wien showed up . It works now.

Of course he realises this. He starts with apologies.
UPC has operations in a lot of countries and it can be no surprise that sometimes someone comes here for help.

It is funny that he got the dutch channel line-up, though..., I guess it would not show the channels itself

Tell the People at https://upc.at/ that they also should start something like the Chelloo.nl forum.
They might be surprised to hear that the Dutch are also helping out Aussies in Austria.....

If he's not from down under he might be from out back, since the temperature out back at my place is minus 13 at the moment i hope for his sake he's an Austrian and his earlier "thank you mate" remark a slip of the typing fingers..
