Ervaren anderen de geluidsverschillen tussen programma's en reclames op Nat Geo HD als zeer storend? Het verschil is soms zo groot dat ik van Nat Geo HD naar een andere zender zap omdat ik het geluidsverschil als erg storend ervaar. Hebben anderen ook een hekel aan dit probleem bij Nat Geo HD?

Dear National Geographic Benelux,
As a viewer of National Geographic HD channel via UPC Digital in The Netherlands, I would very much like to know why there is such an immense difference in sound levels between the programme being broadcast and the advert blocks on National Geographic HD in Holland. The difference in sound level is now sometimes so great that I'm forced to change the channel, solely owing to the immense increase in sound level during advert blocks. This seems to occur when the programme being broadcast is in 5.1 sound and the advertising blocks being broadcast are in 2.1 sound. As you are no doubt aware, there is nothing more of a turn off for the viewer than when adverts are so loud that the entire house starts to shake. No other High Definition channel on UPC Digital has this problem apart from National Geographic HD. Possibly you may not have the know how to get this offensive problem sorted out, although as all other High Definition channels do not have this sound problem I can only assume that you are doing it deliberately. Surely you must be able to adjust the advert sound levels for the Dutch language broadcasting area so that they are not 3 times as loud as the programme one is watching.
When will you get this very disturbing problem with your advert sound levels sorted out on National Geographic HD here in The Netherlands?
