Motorola Surfboard 5100E IP-adres

Goeden avond allemaal,

Ik probeer te ontdekken waardoor mijn internet er elke paar minuten een paar seconden uit ligt.
Wanneer ik naar bijv www.google ping ( -t ) dan komt deze elke (gemiddeld genomen dan) 10 passes (antwoorden) met een time out.
Wanneer ik naar mijn router ping ( -t ) dan krijg ik netjes antwoord zonder time-outs.

Vandaar dat ik eens even mijn modem wil pingen om te kijken of het probleem nou echt aan de lijn of bij chello ligt of dat mijn modem naar de knoppen is.
Weten jullie misschien het ip-adres van mijn surfboard modem?
(ik heb hier op het forum gezocht maar geen hits gevonden, google gezocht geen hits en de handleiding van motorola zelf maar daar staat uiteraard ook geen ip-adres in.)

Netwerk status:

Modem (zie titel voor merk)--> Router (eminent) --> bekabeling naar pc's
PC's hebben een vast ip-adres in een C klasse netwerk (192.168.0.X met subnet 255.255.255.0) en er is een dhcp service actief op mijn (windows 2003) server die gewoon op de router is aangesloten. (dhcp server is voor als er bijv. een notebook ff snel het netwerk ingeprikt wordt)

Tot voorheen dus geen problemen enkel de laatste paar dagen dat dit probleem zich voor doet.
 
Er is plenty over geschreven hier.

Gebruik is de tools die windows of linux leveren om je netwerk status te kunnen controleren. Het geg. elke xx minuten is de verbinding weg, ja ik ben mijn spelt kwijt in de ....

dus geef is wat meer info ip dhcp dns sm etc

voor het ip-adres ga ik dan nog wel beter opzoek :S

heb hem gevonden: 192.168.100.1
in de log van mijn modem staat de volgende error:
2005-06-01 19:57:14 4-Error 0x041D2BB8 Improper Configuration File CVC Format
zouden die time-outs hier miscshien iets mee te maken kunnen hebben en zo ja is het verstandig dat ik hiervoor contact opneem met chello zodat zij de modem opnieuw kunnen flashen?

Deze melding staat bij iedereen met een 5100e in de logfile.
Volgens mij ook bij alle andere Motorola en zelfs Thomson modems.
Bij mij dus ook en dat geeft geen problemen.

Je moet het ergens anders zoeken, maar waar??
 
  zelf heb ik de boel via Mdm ==>>switch==>> router ==>.hub

  sluit je PC direct aan op je 5100.

  Je krijgt als het goed is een ip adres, dit kan een 10.184.xxx.yyy of een 192.168.xxx.yyy zijn, de laatste wordt door de DHCP van het modem uitgegeven, ondanks dat er in een stukje DHCP server??, ergens uit 2004, staat dat dat door chello uitgeschakeld zou zijn, niet dus .

Resultaat vlgs de beschrijving, mijn eigen conf is anders

START RUN of via c:\command prompt,

type in

ipconfig /release,  /renew /all, dan zie je het uiteindelijk toegewezen IP adr.

mijn router werd te warm en vertoonde dezelfde issue's. Mijn download snelheid was ook om te huilen.
Heb sinds kort een 'blower' op mijn router staan en mijn download snelheid is echt helemaal toppie.
Dus als je een router hebt - ff checken of dat ie niet te warm wordt
