DOCSIS CM are being uncapp.....is chello CM a DOCSIS Modem ???

hi everybody,

Please help, i'm under chello (in UPC FRANCE) and need to know if my "shity" Terayon CM is a DOCSIS modem ?

And if it is, can I download the "configuration file used by the service to control the settings" of the modem.

Have read a lot of docs here https://www.iscentral.org/~tcniso/

These guys are working on a brilliant project that may suck the speed of some cable modems !!!!

Second question, Can i put a different Cable modem than mine ?? without losing connection ??

If I remember correctly, Terayon is not DOCSIS compatible.

Anyway, this uncapping method only works on Surfboards.

You're absolutly right.. The terrayon are not on the DOCSIS platform.

It depends on wich server you're on.. It must be possible, but not with al modem types...
Wich one do you want to use, and wich platform it uses...
