You : My soundblaster live 1024 won't do anything with EAX with games
You : either EAX is disabled (greyed out) or when i select it and press
the 'ok' button it jumps to 'no sound driver'

Gail : I'm afraid that is an OEM card which we do not have any support
for.
Gail : OEM products are products that Creative made for PC
manufacturers and System Integrators such as Dell and Gateway. These companies
are contractually obligated to provide support for these cards which are
provided at a greatly reduced cost as savings are made on packaging,
advertising and support. We have no technical exposure to these cards
and the only support provided for them by Creative is on our website
where we may post driver updates. For all other issues, you will need to
contact your vendor.

i contact?

Gail : Did you download a driver, or install the integrated XP driver?
You : i downloaded it

Gail : If you installed a driver/software from our website for this
card, I cannot guarantee that it will work correctly with the card, as all
drivers on oure website are intended for retail cards only. I recommend
you try the integrated windows xp driver.
