Zie onderstaande:
Dear Richard
Thank you for your email.
UPC Netherlands source BBC THREE and FOUR from the regular satellite
transmissions and we certainly do not turn these on and off.
A matter for the cable operator, who, if they had problems, do have the
means to get in contact with the appropriate part of the BBC.
I hope this is of help.
regards Martyn Culling

Dear BBC,
I live in The Netherlands and receive BBC 3 & BBC 4 via my local digital
cable operator UPC Netherlands, which is part of the Liberty Media Group.
Most evenings I receive BBC3 & BBC4 without a problem via their digital
service.
On certain evenings the channels seem to be off-air for the entire
evening, Sunday 18-12-2005 being an example. My cable company is
blaming the BBC for this. They claim that there are licencing agreement
problems with the channels and that the BBC deliberately switches the
streams off. How can it therefore be possible that I'm able to watch a
programme one evening on either BBC3 or BBC4 no problem, but, when the
same programme is repeated on a different evening, the BBC3 & 4 streams
have been blocked?
Does this problem lie with the BBC or with UPC?
