BBC Three tijdens de Spelen voor alle DTV abonnees beschikbaar

UPC gaat tijdens de Olympische Spelen BBC Three beschikbaar stellen voor alle DTV abonnees. (eigen bron)

ik ben daar erg blij mee. Na Multivisie (glasvezel) volgt ook UPC. Het is nu aftellen naar de spelen..
De Olympische spelen vinden plaats van 27 juli tot 12 augustus.

Olympic Breakfast

6.00am-9.00am BBC One/BBC One HD A combination of Hazel Irvine and Bill Turnbull or Chris Hollins and Sian Williams start the day with a look at the main stories from the day before and the highlights from the day ahead, also incorporating national and regional news and weather.

Dit zal helaas online vanuit NL niet mogelijk zijn maar dat heeft de BBC best mooi in elkaar gezet:

We mogen dan wel niet de 24 live streams van de BBC online bekijken, we kunnen wel de 12 live streams van de NOS bekijken op nos.nl, je mobiel en (nieuw) via de connected tv app van de NOS (deze interactieve apps werken onafhankelijk van de UPC mediabox).
En het is de NOS wel gelukt om die voor de meeste merken op tijd beschikbaar te maken. De BBC is dat niet voor alle merken televisies gelukt.

Dat moet dan wel iets zijn wat je heel graag wil zien.
Want de beeldkwaliteit van die NOS streams is zeer matig.
Blij dat ik Satelliet heb met 24 HD streams.

Je hebt gelijk dat kwaliteit niet hoog is. Wel is het recent opgeschroefd naar 2Mbps en het ziet er nu beter uit dan tijdens de opstartfase.

Morgen om 20 uur wordt op BBC Three al live vanaf de Olympische Spelen uitgezonden. BBC Three wordt dan gebruikt voor het live verslag van de tweede helft van een wedstrijd uit het Olympisch voetbal toernooi voor dames. BBC One begint iets eerder op de dag. NB: Ook Eurosport is er vanaf morgen continue live bij.

Dit is lullig.. er wordt blijkbaar verkeerde BBC zender doorgegeven door UPC:

UPC geeft in verband met de Olympische Spelen tot en met 12 augustus het tv-kanaal BBC Three aan alle digitale abonnees door. Op de eerste dag de Olympische Spelen gaat UPC al pijnlijk in de fout.

Piet Boon meldt op zijn weblog dat UPC geen rekening heeft gehouden met het feit dat BBC Three normaal overdags geen uitzendingen heeft. Het kanaalslot wordt in deze uren door kinderzender CBBC gebruikt.
